Why I Started the Velarion Light Journal

Velarion Light Journal Entry 1

I didn’t set out to create a blog.
Not at first.

It didn’t come from a big plan or a clear vision. It came from something much quieter — a pull I kept feeling inside, like a soft knock I could no longer ignore. For years, so many thoughts, reflections, and small awakenings have been building inside me. Moments that changed me. Moments that cracked me open. Moments that made me pause and rethink everything I thought I knew.

And I realized I needed a place to put them.

Not in a polished way.
Not in a “teaching” way.
Just in a human way.

The Velarion Light Journal is that place.

It’s where I can write freely about what I’m learning, what I’m unlearning, what I’m healing, and what I’m discovering about myself as I move through life. It’s not a space where I’m trying to be anything other than who I am — someone walking her own path, paying attention to the subtle moments that shape her, and listening to the quiet guidance that shows up between the noise.

I created this journal because I wanted a softer, more truthful space to express the things that don’t always fit into conversation or social media. A place where I can speak honestly about intuition, growth, grief, connection, and the mysterious ways life keeps nudging us forward.

I don’t know exactly where this blog will lead — and I think that’s the point.
I’m letting it unfold the way all meaningful things do: slowly, naturally, and with intention.

If my writing finds you at the right moment, I’m grateful.
If it gives you something to reflect on or simply reminds you that you’re not alone in whatever you’re moving through, then this space is already doing what it was meant to do.

Thank you for being here at the very beginning.

Cassia
